Q. Do you buy secondhand dresses?
 A. No we do not -all dresses in our hire collections are purchased new from the designer/manufacturer.

 Q. What about alterations?
 A. We can recommend a local company who have many years experience in bridal alterations. They normally like to do a first fitting between 4-6 weeks before your wedding. At all fittings you will need to take along your shoes and the underwear you intend to wear with the dress.all alterations costs are payable directly to the seamstresses on completion of their work.

 Q. What happens when my dress is delivered?
 A. You will be notified by post and asked to make an appoitment for an initial fitting within 14 days.
This is also when the final balance of your dress is due.At this appointment you can choose accessories from our large selection if you have not already done so and will be advised about any alterations that may be required.

 A. In order for us to place an order for you we will require a deposit of 50% of the purchase price. You will be measured to decide which size should be ordered and you will be given an approximate delivery date.

 Q. Help my wedding is less than 6 months away!
 A. Don't panic-at Encore this is not a problem. We always have a large selection of dresses to buy off the peg. Also several of our designers offer what is called a 'rush cut'. There is a charge for this of between 50 to 75 but your dress will be delivered in 8-10 weeks.
